Conference FAQ's of Addicon 2025

What is ADDICON 2025?

ADDICON 2025 is the Annual National Conference of the Addiction Psychiatry Society of India(APSI). This year’s theme focuses on advancing evidence-based practices, research, and innovations in the field of addiction psychiatry. The conference provides a platform for psychiatrists, psychologists, researchers, students, and allied professionals to share knowledge, engage in discussions, and foster collaborations.

When and where will the conference be held?

The conference will be held from 5–7 November 2025 in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, India, at the prestigious Hotel Pride. Detailed venue directions, travel tips, and local information will be provided here closer to the event.

Who can attend ADDICON 2025?

The conference is open to:

  • Psychiatrists and mental health clinicians
  • Clinical psychologists and counsellors
  • Social workers and rehabilitation professionals
  • Medical and paramedical students
  • Public health and policy professionals interested in addiction medicine.

How do I register for the conference?

You can register online through our registration portal, www.addicon2025. Early bird discounts are available until 01 September 2025. On-site registration will also be available, but we recommend registering in advance to secure your spot and preferred workshops.

What does the regular registration fee include?

The regular registration fee covers:

  • Access to all scientific sessions and keynote lectures
  • Conference kit and program booklet
  • Entry to the inaugural and valedictory ceremonies
  • Lunch and tea/coffee on all conference days
  • Participation certificate for all registered delegates.

Please note that pre-conference workshops may have additional fees. Single-day conference registration also has some limitations in facilities

Will there be pre-conference workshops?

Yes, a series of pre-conference workshops and training sessions will be held on [date], covering practical topics such as motivational interviewing, harm reduction strategies, and advances in pharmacotherapy. Details and registration for workshops will be shared soon.

How can I submit an abstract?

Abstract submissions for free papers, posters, and symposia are now open. Please visit the Call for Abstracts  page for submission guidelines, deadlines, and formatting instructions. All submissions will be peer-reviewed by the scientific committee.

Are there any awards or recognitions?

Yes, ADDICON 2025 will recognise outstanding contributions through awards such as Best Free Paper, Best Poster, Best thesis award, and Dr Saadgi Jagawat Best Paper Awards. Details and eligibility criteria are available under the Awards & Guidelines section.

Will Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits be awarded?

Yes, the conference is accredited by the Madhya Pradesh Medical Council, and CME credit points will be awarded to eligible registered participants.

What is the cancellation and refund policy?

Cancellations must be requested in writing via email to info@addicon2025.com. Refunds, minus administrative charges, will be processed for cancellations requested before 25 September 2025. No refunds will be issued after September 30, 2025.

What about accommodation and travel arrangements?

Delegates are responsible for their accommodation and travel. However, special rates at select hotels near the venue are available. Please refer to the Accommodation addicon2025/travel/hotel page. The hospitality desk will also assist you with travel-related queries.
